When you search for a message and click to jump to the message it brings you near it but not to the message. I previously had an apple and did not have this issue.

I think it just depends on how old the message is. I have the same problem on PC when the message is older than a month or so, but usually just clicking the jump button again seems to fix it.

No mine happens wuth any message, even messages from today
