need automatic switching of light/dark theme fonts for usernames

Names in chat use fixed fonts and some are only legible in the right theme (dark or light). That's because the dark-theme name may be too close to the white background of the light theme.

So, when there are both dark-only and light-only names, there will be names you can't read.

This is an issue in linux shells and the solution was to automatically flip the themes of the fonts to match that of the background.  Would be great if Discord had something similar.

    Biggest issue would be determining when to change the colors, unless you’re assuming both dark and light mode would both function as a pseudo-inverted mode.

    Yes, it would need say a map of theme-specific fonts to counterpart fonts in the other theme.

    Then, when loading, the app would use the current theme as a parameter to fetch the theme-specific flavor of that font.
