Ability to change auido input when using bluetooth headset to internal iPhone/iPad/Android phone mic so overall system audio quality won't drop to crappy 64 kbps.

Especially on iOS, if users could choose between using the A2DP (stereo audio) or HSP or HFP (headset and hands free) for their connect Bluetooth device if it supports both profiles. In some android and of course desktop platforms you can change what profiles the device use but you can’t in iOS.

Of course for A2DP it would have to use the devices built in mic, but I’ve gotten this to work on discord for android before by first playing music on my phone so it was in stereo and then joining a voice channel and stopping the music playback. I could hear the voice channel in high quality and it was using my device microphone

I can't agree with this more. Things can slightly be mitigated by using "Call Mode" but that seems to only work with wired headphones, not Bluetooth headphones. Discord already tried to help me through which Involved trying their beta mode and a few other things but nothing worked with Bluetooth headphones. The Quality is so bad it's laughable. Part of me also thinks this is a per phone issue too however. I'm currently using a Note 10+ and it seems like it also happens in apps like WhatsApp.

If that's the case, Discord I'd love for you guys to reach out to Samsung andsand other phone providers to help fix this garbage issue. It's quite easy to replicate:

1). Get in a voice call with wireless headphones

2). Play music or a YouTube video to see the supreme audio degradation.

    Please help us out here.
