Show actual character count in posts that exceed 2,000 (and boost limit)

1. There is no easy way to know how much needs to be trimmed from a post that exceeds 2,000 characters. Please add a character count (i.e. the error message should say something like: Your post is 2,334 characters. Post are limited to 2,000 characters). Even better would be a running character counter - that would make it much easier to avoid going over the limit, or trimming a post that is too long.

2. Bump up the limit. Lots of worthwhile comments need more than 2,000 characters, especially if a few hundred are burned up in long links. 5,000 would be a much more reasonable limit.
