More Than One Custom Status
I was thrilled to see the update today that allows custom status, but really only one custom version at a time?? I immediately jumped to making one that'd work for when I'm ready to have writing sprints with my friend (a highly common status for me), but when I went to make a second thing, it was like "so you can only have one custom thing at a time, and if you want to make a new one, you'll have to overwrite this one."
I would much prefer to have at least a small set -- even just 3-5 -- that let me indicate my most common activities (e.g. ready to sprint, reading fanfics, mostly in kitchen, worn out, distracted), ideally with those emojis and color-coded, and then one additional spot for what that field is used for now (specifying a random condition that will get overwritten the next time anything else comes up -- not meant to stick around).
Also might be nice to be able to change the standard messages to user-specific ones, like maybe I could turn "Online" to "Ready to Sprint" and "Idle" to "Distracted" and thus free up some of those extra statuses for more specific, less common states.

I see where you are going with this although, i think it would bombard it too much. Have you considered just putting them all in the one custom status and seperate by | or commas?

So...... let me get this straight. Your idea of a preferred solution is to put the equivalent of:
"I'm Ready to Work and Champing at the Bit to Get Started, Relaxing with Some Cool Fanfics, Mostly in the Kitchen but Infrequently Checking the Computer, Too Worn Out to Do Anything Tonight, and/or Too Distracted to Focus, one or more of the above just take a guess"?With a custom status that, on my PC, doesn't even have enough room for "Ready to Sprint" and renders it just "Ready to Sp..."?
How exactly do you find this solution to be an improvement on not having custom statuses at all? Because I can't see the benefit of a custom status that says "I could be ready to work or too tired to work, I could be ready to focus or too distracted to focus, I could be online or I could be mostly away from the computer, but I don't have enough statuses available to actually tell you which of these states applies." At least Online/Idle/DND/Invisible offers some level of useful information about what one's friend is up to at the moment.

Hey man, i was just offering a solution based on what is avaliable now. I wouldn't expect a status at that length anyway. I think the best thing to do would be to add them as roles or something, i dunno.

I'm sorry; I didn't mean to come across that mocking. But it just struck me as really funny, as any sort of attempt to solve the problem I indicated.
(Also the length of the combo custom status would be considerably less than my expanded version -- I was just trying to be clear what each of those statuses *means*, and thus why you could not possibly combine them to make any sort of sense. Work-Ready/Relaxing/Mostly-AFK/Exhausted/Distracted are not statuses that make much sense when you combine them.)
How do roles work? I haven't really explored much of what Discord has to offer other than the basic chat.
