add an option to always see profile GIFs

sometimes people don't even know that u have a Gif as a profile pic because they can only see it when they click on our profile or just when they cross the mouse over the message, and i think this option may be ok if you have a really bad computer and those Gif are a problem or just if they annoy you, u can just disable it
