Markup in Custom Status

I use the custom status feature to show when I'm playing a game that Discord inherently can't capture, such as console games. But I can't **bold the title** like an automatic game status does. If I try, it just shows the markdown literally. If I want to do this right now, I have to use 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲 for it. I imagine others would want to do this for "Watching" or "Listening to"-type status as well.
