Line separation between message groups.
With the new UI update the line separating message groups have been removed.
As a person who finds it hard to separate blocks of text. This simple change now makes it harder to read text. Relying on just the air gapes between message groups don't help.
The lines made every message group be in there own little boxes. Now it's just one big waterfall of text with gaps.

A lot of people in the Discord's I'm in have the same feelings, not only for the difficulty of it but for the look. It just looks ugly, with nothing seperating each of the text groups, and new messages have a line but no space. The last layout was better, plz fix

Just wanted to boost this -- removing the lines between message groups has made Compact mode incredibly unreadable for me, with everything blending together and no visual cues to distinguish between different chunks of text. They completely broke the design principles of "uniform connectedness" and "common regions" with this update. Surely as UI designers they ought to be aware of these basic design principles?!

I feel like there should be an option since I like the way it is now, but there definitely should be an option for people like you who needs this
