Stop changing the design just for the sake of change

Yet another post.

Both the new desktop design (friends list activity feed that doesn't follow the Game Library toggle in Appearance settings, new chat design) and the new mobile layout with the crappy Instagram ripoff bottom bar are terrible. The saying goes to not change what isn't broken, and this is clearly the case. The old design worked perfectly well, but you just have to change the design just for the sake of change. It's evolution, sure, but it's evolving backwards.

Also, the new friends list button popups instantly close when you mouse away. Doesn't matter though, the entire new friends list/activity merge is awful.

Discord's features have improved over the years - for sure. Audit logs, channel categories, all of that. The design, however, has not. Please revert your recent design decisions as soon as possible.

Don't fix what isn't broken. This isn't even a fix. Prioritise the UX, and stop changing the design just for the sake of change.
