Restore the horizontal bar dividers in Compact Mode

The new chat UI is unreadable.

 

And, more generally speaking, changes to such a vital part of the program (the way the chat looks - the main thing that people will be staring at while using it) should probably not be made without a reason behind it.

Those random changes are what killed ICQ, MSN Messenger and Skype.

    Yes please! Users of the same color with a similar name length are very hard to differentiate at a glance now. Please either restore this for compact mode or at least make it a flag.
