Another UI Post Request

Hello everyone, I'm normally not one to complain about features and things being updated/changed because you know a lot of change is pretty scary and sometimes it just takes some time to realize "Oh this is actually a good idea."

This is not one of those times.

Everything is so cluttered, whenever I read I'm constantly highlighting the text that I'm reading to make it contrast against the background better and this new change makes it terribly distracting to even try to do that. The icons to the right are very spammy (I'm NOT going to be using an emote every damn message, I don't need a shorthand for that?) and in addition even with the spacing set to 24 there's no lines that are visually spacing paragraph blocks between users.

(Not to ask too much, but if anyone else reading this does the highlighting to contrast thing when reading would you be willing to respond? I don't know anyone else who does this but I swear I can't be alone here.)

I know everyone is already complaining about it excessively, and I have no idea if you are going to read this one specifically. However once I saw how bad it was I immedaitelty tried to look up how to change it back, then when I found out it was impossible I needed to find a place to tell you all that I am absolutely loathing this new change. I look forward to an update that rolls this back, thank you for taking the time to read this.

I actually highlight text in order to read it as well. I have a processing disorder that makes focusing on repetitive, unbroken lines very difficult, and I do this on particularly poorly-formatted articles. I had never previously had to do this on Discord, but this has done it. It's causing me a ton of problems in being able to read and look at Discord at all. This is an accessibility issue at this point.
