Menu does not appear until discord is focused with click

In the old version, if tabbed out of discord, you could move the mouse over the discord window/a message, and the two dots for the emote/edit menu would appear.

In the new version, you have to manually click into the client, only then will the new "3 last used emote bar + menu" appear. This is an additional click and thus bad.

I would also like to mention that this update has made it impossible for me to use discord for longer periods of time thanks to the flickering highlighting, the visual noise from the bar appearing and disappearing, the "new" line popping up when tabbed out, and autoscrolling being removed.
