New Discord UI is distracting and unclear

The new Discord UI distracts you from the conversation and doesn't look as good/polished.

The previous UI looked way better and wasn't distracting you from the conversaition. To give some examples:
- The 3 dots and reaction bar are much bigger and take up more space than they really need. Previously they were within the message 'box' and the reaction menu was hidden behind the 3 dots menu (which you could also find by clicking with your right mouse button)
- The highlighting effect when you hover over an message distracts a lot, and because the previous lines between messages (from different users) are gone, it's sometimes harder to see who said what.
- The 'NEW' icon for new messages also doesn't look as good as the previous red line (with 'new messages' in between) and again, it distracts you more from the conversation.
There are more things like this but these are the most notable (for me).

So: The new UI is more a downgrade than an upgrade, and it should be reversed (except the 'quote' function, which is actually a really nice thing)
