this new UI update is disgusting

please, GOD just change this shit back. changing things about your service that aren't broken just to make t hem worse is simply just not the way to do things, messages simply blend in with one another and i cant see where one ends and another begins after you removed the spacing between them, the overlay with the emotes along with the darkening of the message your cursor is over is unnecessary, distracting, and makes the entire UI look cluttered as hell, the changing of the red "new message" alert not only intends on having you yank your eyes across multiple feet of screen to see one "new" but just looks plain unfinished, empty, and incredibly odd now that its barely fitting into its significantly smaller tab

the simplest way to fix this entire mess is just reverting it, i apologize to you designers that were likely forced by one or two people who thought this was a good idea to spend a week or two to make this update, but it did NOTHING but worsen my, and others experience on discord

Worse than that, everything's suddenly so small and squashed to the side and into the lower left corner so I have to crick my neck down and focus on the very bottom of my screen. And because of the emoji hotbar, every time move my mouse over any part of a post, I get a big red flashy thing on the exact opposite corner of the screen where all the text is and I have to dart my eyes and turn my head across a very large, flashing and decentralized empty space to read or focus on anything. Where all the images and text used to be pleasantly centered has been rendered a flashy, sharp waste of space. A darkening highlight-by-hover feature has been added for absolutely zero reason other than to throw off the comfortable color scheme and make me sick and disoriented. CHANGE IT BACK!

Everything that used to be neatly presented in the middle, from top to bottom, is fleeing and scratching at what once were the edges of the screen where a thin, unnecessary and barely visible scroll bar for the sidebar is hiding, waiting to be highlighted so it can light up like everything else. I hate it.

My PC is not a phone. Please don't turn it into one.
