Blocked users on mutual servers

I find the blocking option as it is now absolutely useless. Sure it prevents blocked users from sending me private messages, but what about mutual servers ? Servers are the core of Discord. It would be better if blocking actually blocked any messages -not just a big disturbing bar in the middle of the conversation that i can click-  AND if the blocked users couldn't see my messages as well !

Being part of a community sometime you have no choice but to be on a server with someone you've got a real problem with. I don't want that kind of person to be able to track me on social media or be aware of my whereabouts.

  I do at least wish we could make the blocked posts smaller. Like a colored line that if I want to view it I can click on it, instead of a line of text interrupting a conversation.
