Voice calls when phone is locked

It would be nice if I could lock my phone and still have a voice call running. My phone will go into sleep mode and it will prevent me from hearing or speaking to the group. Or maybe keep the phone from going into sleep mode while in voice chats, because some apps can do that. Thank you.

  I do believe that on apple devices, discord will keep the call running and accessible when the phone is locked, unless on low power mode. If you are using an android device, I feel like it should work, but it very well may not.

  I forgot to mention, I'm on Android. Maybe it's not working since I always keep my phone on low power mode?
