Attenuation / Windows 10
I'm having issues with Windows 10 and Discord's attenuation feature. Whenever starting my computer after running Discord, my volume levels under my volume mixer are lowered due to the attenuation feature.
Is there any way to stop this from permanently lowering my volume? I have to raise my volume of all my apps whenever I start my computer.
Thank you.

Can confirm I also had these issues but since then I've had to turn it off since it's too much of a pain.

I've had this issue since I started using discord.

I've always had this issue as well.

Same issue. Volume levels need to be automatically restored. If that were present, the feature would be fantastic.

A million posts about this going back years and no dev response?

its such a good feature and combined with the krisp thing it makes discord the perfect tool but this flaw is so frustrating

This issue still persists and there are a ton of posts on reddit of users having the same issue. Please fix that already.

Just a quick update to that: I was in a very long discussion with Discord support members a while ago regarding this error. TLDR: They are unable to reproduce it (which I can't understand), and they just ignore all the bug reports out there describing this error. So I guess this'll never be fixed.

Wow, that's surprising considering this happens to me literally every day. Sometimes even during the same gaming session I'll have to pop over to volume control and fix my volume multiple times. :-/

I'm so glad we got that new Recent Activity feature rather than fixing this 7 years old bug Discord!
