Audio Input/Output Choice Options

As a general note, the ability to choose input and output devices is really helpful on PC. While I understand that the infrastructure of a mobile device is more restrictive, if it's at all possible I think it would be grand to be able to explicitly choose which devices to use for input and which to use for output.

As a personal note, my fiance who is hard-of-hearing uses headphones to voicechat with me, but the microphone of his headset is really quite awful. As it stands, there is no way for him to use the much-better inbuilt microphone of his tablet or iPhone while using the headphones, and so we're stuck between him being able to hear me or me being able to hear him.
