New UI: Keyboard opens automatically when pasting [Android]

I know this probably doesn't bother anyone or maybe no one noticed before..

Before the new UI, you could paste into the chatbox without the keyboard opening up, but now it does even if it wasn't opened before and now it's blocking half of my screen when I paste something and want to see what I posted.

Please revert it back! So that the keyboard doesn't pop up when not needed!!
