Fix notification muting on text-channels
@mentions is an option that I have NOT selected and @mentions still give me notifications from a textchannel that is MUTED and notificationsetting are set to NOTHING.

It is explicitly stated that "Muting a channel or a server prevents unread indicators and notifications from appearing unless you are mentioned (which includes the @everyone and @here tags)."
So the feature is working as designed, but what we really need is a way to prevent unread indicators and notifications from appearing even if you are mentioned, but only for a specific channel.

You completely missed my point. It's like you didn't read my comment nor look at the friggin picture. Mute is perhaps working as intended but maybe try reading this part of my one sentence comment again: "and notificationsetting are set to NOTHING".
I don't know if perhaps NOTHING means something else in your language but the way I've been taught it should completely disable notifications if they are set to NOTHING. ALSO as I said in my comment THERE IS AN OPTION FOR ENABLING MENTIONS AND THAT IS NOT WHAT I HAVE SELECTED.
This is a bug. It's either wrongly implemented or described the wrong way. It doesn't do what is says it does nor does it give me the option to that thing in any other way except leaving the server. So that's what I've been doing.0 -
Hey man, I definitely didn't mean any offense. In fact, I absolutely agree with you. The use of the feature is unclear and I myself have been talking to support to try and get it addressed. I was quoting their support page that describes how the notification settings work, and it does seem to make exceptions even when the setting is Nothing. Which, as you said, is dumb and should be changed.
