Separate Options to Exclude/Include Server in Inbox

The new inbox feature is a great idea and I find myself really liking it. However, as some people have said, it is rather negative for communities due to the fact that you have to mute a server to keep it out of your inbox, which can be harmful to new communities wishing to grow their member base, and a bit of an annoyance to users who would otherwise want to keep a popular community unmuted but find their inbox clogged up by messages.

It would be much more convenient to have either:

An option to exclude servers from the inbox without muting them entirely, or

The requirement to include certain servers in your inbox to receive messages from them in the inbox.

This would clean up the inbox substantially and as a result make it better for servers and users alike.
