Uploading Emojis Misreads File Size

I tried uploading a file picture to create an emoji. The file size is 47kb (vs 256 kb limit) and the operation failed to complete "File Size Too Large." This strikes me as odd, but I have noticed activity in the Eve Echoes Discord server that suggests someone has accessed my files, but none of the security software has discovered anything.
