Nicknames in DM's.

I think this has been mentioned before a few times, but I think adding a nickname in direct messages would be nice, similar like you would in a server. or adding a custom emoticon along with nicknames. A small feature to add personality to your name.

  Personally I'm asking for this feature because I have a lot of DMs with people who I don't know their usernames, I don't want to have to click their DM chat to check the top and see their nickname from the mutual server.  I want to be able to make a nickname for them or show their nickname from another server.

  I agree with this a lot, especially group DMs
  As a trans person that is in the process of outing myself to my friends and we interact a lot in group DMs instead of servers because of our small scale, I think that a nickname change can serve as a reminder to Stop misgendering and Deadnaming before it even happens.

  I agree with this a lot!! It would be nice to give your friends nicknames, or whenever they change their username, you would know who it is
