Larger Group Chats!

Today we’ve come to you with a suggestion that has constantly been pestering our wellbeing and time on Discord since the accessibility of Discord Group Chats were offered to everyone. We have a few problems that have arisen that have constantly not only been a problem for us, but other active Discord group chat users.

Now onto the point, our main issue with Discord Group Chats is the ‘cap’ or limit in people that may be added to a group chat. We feel as if this should be increased to at least 15 people with our maximum suggestion being that of 25, as we feel that it is not necessary to make a server simply because we could not fit an eleventh person in the group chat. In addition we believe that having to create a server makes it another obstacle to surf around for the server when you’re in a participant of the many Discord Servers around, and which is why the preference for us when talking to our friends is group chats, and simply increasing the slots to fifteen would surely save us not only time with creating a server, but time with looking for the group chat itself.

Another point of suggestion remains something that wouldn’t be a need however simply a possible suggestion is allowing bots into group chats. This links with the issue of creating an entire server to listen to music with a small group of friends, it would take more time and effort rather than a simple solution; this solution being stated above. Making discord bots friendable and giving us the permission to add them into group chats would liven more the times spent in group chat calls with a small friend group and simplify life for surfers on the Discord application.

If possible, this could be a feature for Nitro users, giving nitro more of a reason to purchase it than what it currently holds in terms of its perks. This could possibly prevent (possible) overloads that can encounter from the millions of Discord users around the world creating Discord Group Chats and instead reduce it to the thousands that have purchased nitro and gives them more of a special and unique feel from subscribing to the Nitro experience dwelling over this platform.
