Allow timestamps and not just datestamps
I posted this on the feedback forum for a discord bot:
You can see the image I've attached. Notice that the first and second post are in Central Time, but only the first post converts it to my time zone for me. That is because the first event is now the same day (or within 24 hours, unsure which). In 2 days, it will be the 29th and the second post will display a converted timestamp. In 4 days, the final post, and so on.
The bot admins told me it was a problem with Discord, not their bot:
two things are going on. The first is that the Android Discord client has a bug that always will show “Today” in the footer. The second is that PC and iOS devices will only show the day until the event is within 48 hours, at which point the time will display.
Being able to convert to our own timezone at all times, not just the day of, would make things better. I can put you in contact with the bot creator if you need help triaging.

I think its a bug, so:
If you found a bug go to https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

+1 for this; additionally might be nice if Message.timestamp was an object instead of just a string, so we could pass in different formatting or options ala https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Intl/DateTimeFormat/format
I.e. to just show date, just show time, choose formatting for the date and time
