video chat on Android device cannot split screen

Hi there, I have used Discord video chat on ios device, and it has screen spliting function (the function that allows you see both of you for half the screen size). Another funtion is that I can maximizing myself or the one that I am chatting with for full screen. However, when I switch to Android device, the video chat cannot split screen or maximize myself. I hope these functions can be built in to Android please, thank you very much.
