Can we get a notification-less option?

As an introvert who constantly worries about bothering people, it would be nice to have an option to send a message that doesn't notify the person audibly. Like when you want to tell them something but you don't know whether or not they're asleep and are worried you'll wake them up. I just want this option, like, everywhere.
