Cryptocurrency is a scam that uses far too much energy to be sustainable without a huge environmental impact. It's the prime currency used on the deepweb for illegal transactions, it can be erased with a few clicks from a decent hacker, and without any physical attribute (say gold or silver) the entire economy could collapse at the whims of the people in charge of managing the data

NFTs are just as much a scam, and do nothing to prevent art theft. 

If discord wants to support these features, I'm not supporting discord. Enjoy losing your user base over a scheme that will inevitably fail
