Set own nickname for friend's view of direct messages
I've already seen several requests for changing other people's nicknames in your direct messages. I can understand the perspective reasoning of why this shouldn't be added. As it removes a bit of identity from the player that had their nickname 'forcibly' changed, albeit didn't directly affect them.
Instead, I propose we are able to change our own nickname's for each direct message.
Example: My discord name is Sur, but say on game X my IGN is Gamer31. If I were to add a friend I met in-game X, then they can only view me as Sur, when they know me as Gamer31. I would be able to change my nickname in their Direct Message to be viewed as Gamer31. They could still 'inspect' and see my full Discord Tag to prevent other issues.
I've been on the receiving end of this multiple times, maybe even daily. I lose track of friends/direct messages because the username I view them as means absolutely nothing to me compared to their IGN in the game we play together.
Additionally, these DM-specific nicknames could be implemented in a form of Presets, to add more user-friendliness. I.e. "Oh, you want to change your DM-nickname for this user? I recommend Sur, Gamer31, (and any previously chosen / most popular DM-nicknames for that user)."
