Editing can allow user to add/remove images on a message.
I have no idea why it is not a feature.
Let's say you have to send an announcement with an image and you send it, but later realise that you have to send another image as well, so now what? you have to delete the message and send it again pinging everyone twice. So why not make a feature to allow you to delete/replace/add another image to a sent image?

It is possible to remove an image from an already sent message if there is text present, I'm unsure of how this works on mobile but on desktop it is a small hidden x on the outer edge of the top right.
I do love the idea to add/replace images on existing messages although. Definitely a worthy suggestion, thanks for putting this out there.0 -
Click into the image, where the text should begin. Once you are done typing, select the text Ctrl+A, or press the mouse at the beginning of the text, move to the end and release the mouse. You can change the text style in the top bar.
