@/at from user server profile/icon box

When im looking to message a person I usually click on their icon on the right sidebar of my server (in the member list) and just type into the little box there. But I also often want to @/at a person then. At the moment, this is annoying because there is no autocomplete. Would be a much appreciated feature.
