  I liked that, if the Discord Developers add this update, a lot of people can use the translator in the app itself rather than translating all the time in Google Translate, in addition, you can add the option of the language to be selected in addition to Recognition of the Person's Language...

  It is a great idea. However that sounds like Discord would have to get/buy an API key handling translation requests which is a lot more work than just simply implementing it. I would recommend sticking to bots especially when the new Discord right click feature makes it even easier to run commands.
