COMMENT PEDESTAL & STORIES

A couple great ideas came to mind yesterday between me and a few friends. Whenever a server owner is trying to announce something to people, they don't always have the tendancy to check the announcements channel. If you post an announcement in an active channel, it will probably get lost in other messages before users have a chance to read it. What if a server owner was able to send a MESSAGE ON A PEDESTAL. Basically, a floating message that stays at the bottom of chat for a specified amount of time. That way, users can still send other messages, but the host's message stays up for sake of reaction and keeping a topic relevant for a couple minutes. Another idea we had was maybe somewhat of a steal from snapchat in a way, but discord stories would be something a user can add to their profile page. It could be an advertisement for their server, or a cool clip they got in a video game, or just simply a meme. I feel like it would be really cool!
