Discord connect/disconnect sounds ignore phone's audio settings

Discord completely ignores the phone's volume settings upon Joining/leaving a discord call or voice chat as well as when someone joins or leaves the call or voice chat. This is highly annoying and disturbing when I have my phone set to silent.
