Last week, Apple released its latest and greatest OS for Macs into the wild, macOS 10.15 Catalina. If you're upgrading, know that there's a couple small issues on Discord that we're working to get fixed as soon as possible!
Permissions Confusion
With the release of Catalina, the Accessibility permissions that we rely on to power push-to-talk and other systemwide keybinds have changed a bit. You may be asked to re-authorize Discord when you first launch it!
If you're on Catalina and can't use PTT or other keybinds, make sure to check System Preferences > Privacy & Security > Accessibility to ensure that Discord still has access to these vital permissions.
Spellcheck Not Working
Due to a change in how spellcheck performs on Catalina, you aren't currently able to use the built-in spellcheck on Discord. Even if the spellcheck feature is enabled, your messages won't get run through the systemwide dictionary for checking, so you won't see your spelling errors highlighted as is expected. Srory for teh toruble!
