Remove national flags from the language selection menu

Since this year, Discord added national flags to the language selection menu.This seems "brilliant" and "fancy". However, the national flag icon will cause some problems.

First of all, the national flags doesn't represent the language.

For example...

  • English is not the language only for United Kingdom.
  • There are many native Spanish speaker born in US.
  • There are many Russian native speaker born in Ukraine and they have identitiy as Ukrainian.

This UI will annoy some people's feeling. I assume this is a bad UI for the applicaton which is used around the world.
Please reconsider this! Thanks.

    if people are going to cry because they can't accept they didn't invent English then they really should get looked at

    edit: what I mean is if Discord only supports the UK and US version of English then they can have their flags there because those versions are from there
