My opinion on the new Discord mobile UI

Greetings, fellow Discorders! Is it only me, or is the new mobile UI way too complicated? I am not sure whether this is a hot take or not, but the old layout/UI was smooth and minimalistic as well as easy to understand, whereas the new one is complicated and chunky and very difficult to get the hang of. It might just be me not being used to the way the new UI works, but at the same time, all of my friends that have tried it out have hated it and have all stated that they would rather not update to it at all. I have a feeling of that the general consumer will have a much more difficult time of getting the hang of Discord for mobile with this new update. I am interested in the community's opinion on it, so what do you guys think of it?

i strongly agree with you. they deleted the sending message animation on Android. but i want them to add it back. so i refuse to use the new version. i find that the latest version in old UI was 126.21-stable. you can find this version on apkpure.
