Upvoting this one. Just picked up the new MBP 16" and the lack of an M1 native client after a year of M1 chips being on the market is rather disappointing.

I'm facing some lag with my MBA, and due to that I am forced to use the website version of discord as it has lesser lag

Discord getting optimized for the M1 macs would be extremely useful, as then the lag would be way less

    Please implement it discord

Do people not know about the canary build of discord? It has supported the m1 chip for awhile now as a native client.

I'm running the canary client and it's great, the daily updates are annoying though. Long term I'd like to run the stable client so it's updating less. It's a much better user experience though on M1, very responsive and has Krisp support unlike running the x86 client through Rosetta.
