I agree. But, its a bit too harsh to say that in my opinion. They thought hard on hpw it should be. What i suggest is subtle differences to each letter, small but significant to be clearly noticeable, maybe add spots and or stripes of varied colors to each if the letters, and like they said, thecommunity has grown, and became a place for more than just games, ranging from sports, to hobbies, to study, to music, to cooking, to quality of life, and more. To reflect this, why not make a design for each letter that represents generalized aspects of these topics, like the O could have the desing of a soccer ball, and maybe the i could look almost like a music note, the d could have the wifi signal on the top if it, another letter could be a vine with grapes, or maybe ankther letter could represent painting, these are some ideas i thought of on the fly. Hopefully it could be good advise for the next title style of the logo. The new clyde looks alright to me.

I honestly believe it doesn't stick to me, as a 2 year old user, and it doesn't fit for someone like me. Is there a way for us that we could have to have the original design? The lettering and brand feels so wrong to me, as someone that is with Discord for a good while. Maybe add a "Before Rebranding" option to make it a lot more better for older users. Like this, both sides can be happy, and we could also go over a test. See which one who everyone thinks is better.

agreed. I don't see a single thing that's better than the previous one. the color got more saturated so it got closer to the solid blue making it look ugly, the font looks bad and it looks squashed. even the clyde looked sharper and better before.
i know its to appeal to as many people as possible but the new design looks so bad.
