Account wrongfully disabled
About a week ago my account was disabled without receiving an email, I submitted an appeal and luckily got a response like a week later at 6:44am saying that my “suspension” was lifted. At 6:52 in the morning I received another email telling me that I had been disabled again because:"your account engaged in the theft or distribution of paywalled content." I don't understand why or how this could happen, maybe someone here can help explain it, because I think someone is targeting me due to the fact half of discord would be gone if this was actually enforced, not to mention I don't have any paywall content.

Me too, My account was also disabled even though I only used it for chat and save some photos.
They gave me this reason
[Your account is involved in activities that spread malware, commit fraud, crack accounts or credit cards, and/or intend to sabotage devices or computer networks.]

Honestly its worryin how no one is willing to do anything when it comes to this stuff, like, they constantly prove themselves to be kinda bad at what they do support wise and contradict themselves, saying to essentially make a new account when thats against their own rules

I'm glad you got an answer at all. they blocked my account without giving a reason, every contact with them ended with a sudden ticket marked as "solved" providing all the information they wanted. I don't understand them at all

Even so, the factor that discord has these many issues with disabling accounts is something that needs to be addressed, but heck, their CEO is known for having traded a socal platform without user knowledge and then shutting it down suddenly

As for the solved ticket, Ive resorted to just opening the ticket back up and saying they havent explained at all

I ubdestand. it probably won't do you any good. most of them are bots, that's why the answers are the same. The administration doesn't do the same, because despite asking questions, each person gets the same answers. They have some copy-paste formula and they use it for every application. It's terrifying when a company earns millions and its support system is at a stone-age level.

Its true. I'd like to know too, even though I suspect that I was reported by someone who doesn't like me.
The funniest thing was when I reported to them that my account had been disabled. they just sent me a message in a bot saying "change your password" lol. fun fact - this cannot be done when the account is suspended0 -
Oh Im aware, honestly one day ots gonna catch up to discord,they're gonna mess with the wrong person or somethin

idk, I think it's best to move to other applications that have the same appearance as discord, and things with nitro, e.g. a completely free banner

I don't think both my account and my friend's account were banned for the same reason, even though they are not related.
I appealed and they just gave me a bland reply that: "you were in violation and I didn't stop disable an account for you"

And yes, it was created a few years after discord and because of many options it is free there. But the design is identical, you can also create channels, roles, set banners and bots. What's great is that many options are free and you don't have to pay money every month. And support is better.
