Issues with emoji shortcuts and skin tone emojis
I was making a list of emoji shortcuts and u can copy and paste the following blob into discord to see what happens:
  :frowning: :open_mouth:  :sob: :joy: :smiling_face_with_tear:   :rage: :kissing: :unamused: :stuck_out_tongue:      :broken_heart:   :smiling_imp: :imp: :innocent: :sunglasses:
\x-) \:) \:( \:o \;) \;( \:'D \:') \:'( \:| \:@ \:* \:$ \:P \:D \:-\ \>:( \:") \<3 \</3 \,:) \,:( \]:) \]:( \o:) \B-)
however, there are some issues with 3 emojis. backslashes don't work on X-), B-), and o:) for laughing, sunglasses, and angel. same for their alternatives like x-), 8-), and 0:).
with laughing and sunglasses shortcuts, they do not work and turn into an emoji unless it is the first thing sent in the message, and with angel, it always works but you can never backslash it, so it's impossible to type “o:)". If you put a backslash before it, it simply stays there, and if you don't the text turns into an angel emoji.
Apart from these three emojis, there are issues with skin tone thing. You are able to send emojis such as :skin-tone-3: from 1 to 5, however, when you actually send them after text or other emojis, it turns into this:
The emojis do work if they are the first thing sent, but not if anything is in the message before it, similar to the issue with X-) and B-).
In addition, you should be able to use the skin tone simply by typing “:ok_hand::skin-tone-1:” for example, however, this cannot actually be typed out, only copied and pasted. the second that you type one colon, the ok_hand emoji is completed, and then if u put another one it makes it distinct from the skin-tone-1 emoji. The only way around this is to either copy and paste the whole thing, are copy and paste just the double colon and put it in the middle once u type everything else around it. I could be remembering wrong but I thought before the system was something like :ok-hand-1: and :ok-hand-3: or perhaps tone 3 or something like that, and that worked better. Is it possible to fix this so the “:ok_hand::skin-tone-1:” can actually be typed out (same for all the other emojis)
