Swipe to Reply is Back, and I Hate it Even More This Time
Several days ago I went to check who of my friends were online, only to find when swiping from Right to Left, an action that traditionally should reveal the Members list, that Discord had re-implemented the Swipe to Reply feature that users so universally hated the last time they tried it, it vanished entirely. But now, despite them knowing how strongly users hated this regression in the UI of the mobile app, here it is again.
I have submitted multiple bug reports over the past several days requesting this to be repaired, because surely, this couldn't possibly be intentionally done, not after the feedback last time was so overwhelmingly and conclusively negative. Surely not, right? But no, in fact, flying in the face of all logic, decency and presence of basic morality, I was informed that I was a randomly selected member of a test wherein this awful mistake was intentionally put back on my device.
I have requested multiple times to be removed from the testing pool, providing feedback on Swipe to Reply, citing that they are running a useless experiment that they already learned the results to many months ago. I was brushed off and essentially ignored by copy paste responses instead of being given actual assistance for my issue.
I don't want my device held hostage to a failed UI experiment. Give me my app back.

exactly, remove the swipe to reply “feature” or add a gd toggle. its not that hard.
gonna cancel nitro and just never look back.
like think about how the user experience was fine before and now its just clunky and unusable.
