Discord please help me. This is actual criminal action
My account was hacked 3 days ago, the 2fa removed and changed and the passwords changed. The hacker has been trying extort money out of me and threatening me by showing me all my own personal data including my real name, home address, phone numbers even the home address of my ex. All the while using my account to target my friends and family. I've messaged discord, made tickets but nothing, no responses other than the bot telling me to reset my password. I'm starting to feel alone and that's a scary feeling when you're being extorted and threatened. Something, any response to tell me help is coming would be nice. I've already gone to the police and made a report but since it's coming from outside my country, there's not much they can do.

im basically in the same boat, been waiting on discord since Oct 12th. the support system is just awful, im sorry that all of this is making you feel this awful, I completely understand. whatever you do, do NOT pay those people a damn thing, you cant trust a hacker after all, right? just block all contact with them, dont talk with them, dont give them a thing, not even your time.

I've basically given up the idea that I'm gonna get that account back, but I at the very least want it banned so they stop scamming people using my name, since I know they still are, I've seen the screenshots. Steam has a function where you can report a friends account as compromised. It's utterly baffling that discord doesn't have anything similar. Not to mention, what happens when the nitro on the account is up? Am I going to have to fight my bank for that money because discord isn't doing anything. At what point does discord's silence and inaction turn into complicity.

So this is what I was afraid of, the hackers purchasing nitro using my paypal account because Discord hasn't taken action to kick them off my account

Well the issue is that if you lose a password they jsut say: to bad make a new account, as they cannot reset passwords manually or remove 2fa. Also if you added 2fa how can it be that they hacked your account?

Yeah um, how'd you get hacked with 2FA?
Stolen phone? SIM-swapped?
