Link hiding feature abused by scammers

The option to link SCAMSITE.TOP under visible link LEGITSITE.ICU is dumb.

Nobody need this feature but scammers.

Please roll back the feature to hide links behind any text, as this is a very severe attack vector. 

Discord is not MS teams, stop trying to be it. 
Discord is the tool used by crypto bros and scammers.

So please don't just copy and paste generic replies and ACTUALLY listen to the feedback and roll back this BS scam feature. 
Escalate to boss, boss of boss, I don't care, and whoever approved this should wake up. I am a mod on 3 servers and I will personally remove 3 servers worth of boosts (each server has 70 - 80 booosts) because of this BS.
 
Fed up of pouring money into a black hole, only for it to fire back against our community. 

My feedback to discord: 
1. It took years to make reporting easier. Reporting in the OG days was a cumbersome process - enable developer mode, get ID, fill absurd long abuse form. Get no result, unless you know some one. Reporting abuse is still not as easy as it should be but has improved 

2. Selling accounts on black market is against ToS. Yet discord never replied to my emails about discord-accounts.ru and this scammer who owns this scam site for selling accounts went to great lengths to prove selling accounts is OK. No. it is not OK and discord-accounts.ru should be shut down.

*3. Scamming people is so common that 99% of discords have a welcome message that says TRUST NO ONE. DO NOT TRUST DMS. Admins will never DM you first, there are even bots for this like Stickie bot. * 

*4. All web3 and all crypto discords are riddled with scammers, lurkers and moles, When you have a mole in the server. Users ask questions, no matter what you ask you immediately get approached by a fake serv.eth support team member who is not even in the server. So the mole just sits silently and lurks for users who need help, but does not get exposed itself. * 

5. Discords have to rely on third party tools, including BEEMO - made by ex-Discord support staff to secure their servers. 

So tl;dr discord still sucks for web3/defi/crypto, but at least it is not as bad as twitter or telegram hahaha
