If this is related to the new mobile UI overhaul—then the in: syntax has been removed.

If you access the search bar while being on a certain channel, the results will only display for that channel. For server-wide results, you may use the search bar at the top of the channel list.

The search UI changing in mobile to be “more contextual” only leads to confusion.  I can't see any reason why the `in:` syntax whilst in a channel context should be removed (it's still there on desktop/web BTW); it seems quite reasonable for a person to be viewing channel #abc but want to do a search for content posted for channel #xyz *without* having to change channels.  We know this works because it's worked this way for many years (and still does on desktop/web), so this is what I would call either a bad UX change/choice, or simply a regression.

If I tap on the channel name it will say "in: general". But if I delete that and use the filer button to select the channel it says "i: general" and now search in the channel works, including the pinned tab.

(I use discord on a phone set to Swedish as primary language)

Looks like this is a localization/locale related bug in the app.
