Differing layouts between mobile and desktop

I am sure discord support has recieved many instances of feedback surrounding the changes to the mobile UI, I myself submitted my opinions on the UI and the user experience issues it presents.  But today I wanted to bring up another issue I've been experienceing now that I've been using the new UI for a while now, that being differing muscle memory.  As we use an app we get used to the virtual locations of various features, like on discord desktop I know to click the “Direct Messages” icon at the top left to access messages from my friends.  After enough use I can navigate the app without having to look for a feature; I am used to the positions of various features.  But the mobile app change moved a bunch of those features.  On mobile now accessing friends occurs in the middle of the bottom of the screen.  Now to accomplish the same task I have multiple comflicting sets of muscle memory that means I now have to stop and think before accessing the part of the app I need.  While yes its a small feature to complain about, it makes the user experience less intuitive and should be corrected.
