{REQUEST + STRUGGLE) Audio related requests.

I have some struggles and some requests to share!

1. Downloading voice messages sent from yourself/others.

• This would make it much easier to use these for voiceovers/animations
• It would make cross-platform sharing easier
• It would make voice reactions(using a pre-recorded audio clip as a reaction) easier.

One time my friend sent me a voice message reading out this text-based meme, I laughed and said “oh im animating that”. I tried and tried to find ways to download audios, even attempting to find backwards weird sketchy ways.

I struggled for an hour and then gave up and called the project dead and gone. I then wondered, what if discord had a download voice message feature?

2. Mp3/Wav/Any audio file formatting issues.

I've found that sending a Mp3 file results in a download link for that file on IPad(seemingly mobile in general) and this is HIGHLY inconvenient for a number of reasons!

1. People have to download a file, open their files app, and open the file in a media player. Just to be able to listen to what might be a 20 second audio clip.
2. You don't know what the audio is. It could be anything. You don't want to download a file from somebody if you don't know what the file contains, even if its an Mp3. Viruses, scams, and NSFW content find ways to hide themselves in all sorts of file types.
3. It displays the file name, which can ruin certain jokes. Especially if you have the file named something that may give away a surprise/joke.
