About the app while making a private call

First, drag from top to bottom on the private call screen (Image 1) to return to the private chat screen. (It is possible to open the private chat while in the state of Image 1, but I ignore this method because I sometimes send messages to friends and servers other than the friend I'm talking to.)

When I return to the private chat, a movable call screen icon (hereafter referred to as the icon) appears in the upper right. (Image 2)

When the icon in Image 2 disappears, I have confirmed that there is a way to display the icon again, but I'm not sure because it is definitely not a regular method.

(Example of a disappearing operation: The icon disappears when the pull tab menu of the beta function is opened)

The two methods I have confirmed to display the icon again are written below.

1. It can be redisplayed only when you tap the chat field (Personal, DM, Server text channel (chat field other than in-call chat)) and set it to the inputting state (image 4) (for example, image 3). With this method, the icon will not disappear even if you cancel inputting.

2. Open the chat field of a voice channel on a server and enter the input state once to display it again. After that, even if you cancel the inputting state, close the voice channel chat field, or move to another screen other than the pull tab menu, the redisplayed icon does not disappear.

Questions

①Apart from the above 1 and 2, is there any way to display the icon that has disappeared?

②Is there any way to show/hide the icon?

③Is there any way to display the closed personal call screen (image 1) by any operation other than the icon? (If you tap on a friend you are talking to from the pull-tab menu of the beta function and jump to the personal chat, the personal call screen (image 1) will appear, but this method is inconvenient because it is not possible to do this in the personal chat section during a call.)

Hey there! I’ve had some similar experiences with the disappearing call icon on Discord. From what I’ve seen, it seems like the app’s behavior around that icon can be a bit unpredictable, especially with the newer iOS versions.

To your questions:
1. Other Ways to Redisplay the Icon:
Besides the methods you’ve already found, I haven’t come across any other reliable way to bring the icon back. It seems like a bit of a glitch rather than a feature, so until Discord addresses it, the methods you’re using might be the best bet.
2. Showing/Hiding the Icon:
Unfortunately, there isn’t a manual toggle to show or hide the icon. It’d be nice if Discord added something like that in the future for more control.
3. Reopening the Call Screen Without the Icon: I haven’t found a way to do this other than what you mentioned with the pull-tab menu. It’s definitely not the most convenient, but I guess we’re stuck with it for now.
The more people that bring it up, the better the chances they’ll notice and hopefully tweak it in a future update!
Additionally if you are on Telenor mobile network and makes a network call, you should be aware about Telenor balance enquiry number.
