Time Stamps not Visible with Enlarged Fonts on Mobile
Hi! I just want to start off by saying, I've noticed discord making changes that feel like an attempt to improve accessibility on mobile again, and I really appreciate that! That said, this most recent update has an issue with implementation in that regard.
As you can see below, this what discord used to look like with my settings prior to the most recent update:
Names were crushed so time stamps could be seen.
After this new update, seen below, names take precedent. This seems like a good thing (the names are blurred out, but the blur going across the screen shows how it's now trying to show as much of the name as possible), since it makes people easier to identify in a group conversation.
The issue is, names I could (and still can) find by tapping someone's pfp. I cannot do anything short of turning down my accessibility settings to see the time stamps now. And doing so would make me unable to read them, not to mention how inconvenient that would be.
I would suggest trying to find a middle ground, allowing a certain amount of the name and then the time stamp, or adding a way to see time stamp on long press on mobile.
I am on a Samsung galaxy s22, with Android 14 and One UI 6.1. Below are the accessibility settings in question. I also have discord set to make text size, all of which I need because I am severely visually impaired, so changing these down to see the time stamps is not an option. (I'd screenshot the discord settings too, but last time I messed with those they broke and it took forever to fix them and I don't want to mess that up again.)
Again, I think y'all are doing good work! I just think this fumbled a bit. No one's perfect, you're human. I just hope this might help lead back to a more usable setup for visually impaired folks like me ^^
Thank you!
