default server permissions external apps

Would be great if external apps attached to member accounts would not be able to post to servers by default.
I can see this very easily becoming a spam issue. 

It being ON for the everyone role but OFF for moderators and admins by default is also just very strange.

    Theirs major issue user losing accounts and nothing is being done. But this is what you made this threa  about?
